An intensive workshop for 15 young opera singers focusing on the Mozart – Da Ponte trilogy. The workshop concluded with the performance È Aperto a Tutti Quanti at Megaron – Athens Concert Hall, featuring excerpts from Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Così Fan Tutte.
Founded in 2018 by baritone Dimitris Tiliakos, OperaLab is a platform for music theatre education. It offers workshops on the art of singing for young opera singers.
Under Tiliakos’ stage direction, OperaLab also stages performances that integrate training, practical experience, and dramatic vision.
2023 - Orphne
A workshop for drama school students on “The Actor’s Voice in Ancient Theatre” and a performance entitled ORPHNE, inspired by the myth of Orpheus, presented at the European Cultural Centre of Delphi as part of the programme “Nature and Man in Ancient Tragedy”.
2018 - 2019. Don Giovanni
A six-month workshop for young opera singers, culminating in a fully staged performance of the opera.
